Online & Virtually Yours! Inspired Interior Design & Decor

Color, Lighting, Furniture, Space Planning and Decoration

Hello 21st Century!

Now that the need for online interior design services has grown, we have recently started working with some of our clients remotely. While wanting to meet you in person at least just once, there are circumstances where a video conference, FaceTime or Zoom meeting works just as well. Let us know which platform you like.

Full service interior design online requires seeing, touching and feeling every fabric, stone, or wood type. That said, sending samples to you is no problem – thanks to our trusted vendors and manufacturers! With seasoned experience in the products and materials we know and love, we can design for you from any location.

1. Complimentary Phone Conversation

Let’s have a phone chat and get to know each other. It’s totally on us!

2. Initial Consultation

This discussion involves addressing your project in general terms, and touching on the various aspects involved in a potential client / designer partnership.

It includes a professional walk-through of your space, a design overview, a discussion about style, scope of work, timeline, budget, fees, and an intro to the “Belltown Design experience.”

Design recommendations will be offered only in general terms, saving the particulars until after we have entered into a written agreement. This meeting lays a solid foundation for our project together or as a single, yet valuable consultation.

3. Contract

A written agreement to ensure both client and designer are on the same page. The various elements of this document include:

Project Overview
• Statement of Work
• Design Criteria
• Time Schedule
• Budget
• Client and Designer Responsibilities
• Design Revisions
• Design Fees
• Payment Schedule
• and more

Our Seven Step Design-Online Process:

1. Statement of Work – here is an example of our Statement of Work, the results of preliminary communications and decision making.

2. Design Concepts – Your design concept and style is the result of a comprehensive online image exchange and exercise in order to pinpoint the style of your architecture, your interior design style / criteria, and lifestyle. Below is a sample of the back and forth nature of decision making between client and designer. We think it’s really cool to share this actual dialogue! Click to enlarge the conversations below to make them readable.

3. Color Scheme – The color scheme for wall paint colors and other elements is one of the main building blocks of your design. The following shows you a Farrow and Ball paint color scheme that applies also to the various elements of this space.

4. Materials Palette – This is the mixture of materials and textures that your interior design is made up of. An image exchange helps us to visualize everything from metal finish, to wood tones, to fabric textures, and is then translated into our own project materials palette. We often do this by exchanging Pinterest or Houzz idea books, or by direct email.

5. Procurement – While narrowing down options, each room is pieced together according to your design style, color palette, materials palettes, and pattern preferences. We  thoughtfully source a selection of products, just for you. We partner with vendors, manufacturers and artisans to ensure that every design is uniquely tailored to your style, needs and budget. Here are some of the products we incorporated into this design with the variety of options for each one.

6. Floor PlansAll final selections and dimensions are rendered in CAD to a scaled floor plan; to illustrate and ensure that proportions, sizes, and traffic flow work for you!

7. Project Mood Boards – These mood boards are tailor-made to your project and help you to visualize the final design, and how pieces of the puzzle look together. Each room design is represented with all of your selections, and guides you in the installation of your interior design.
